About the Project

A European twinning project strengthening the University of Montenegro’s expertise in underwater sensor networks through institutional partnerships, staff exchanges, specialist visits, training and joint research.

The MONUSEN project strengthened the University of Montenegro Faculty of Electrical Engineering in underwater sensor networks used for oceanographic data collection and pollution monitoring. Through twinning with the National Research Council of Italy, the University of Zagreb Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, and Newcastle University, the project reduced research gaps through staff exchanges, expert visits, on-site training, knowledge transfer and joint research actions.
